Re-using lasercut trays sessions
Rajkot (India) / Italy, 2020
To lasercut requires shapes to be organized within a boundary:
• shapes are arranged with logic in precise locations and orientations according to design needs,
• shapes are distributed over the trays in order to save lasercut time and to reduce waste material.
This creates fascinating unexpected patterns, often geometrical arrays within a predetermined boundary, from which were derived a series of chaotic patterns, obtained with algorithms and sorted manually.
Colors are added digitally, handmade colored version are “in the making”.
